....There is a huge need for houses of worship in the poverty-strickenNorthern region of Brazil. In response to this demand, Sister Churches International has been created to help the communities to find matching donor sister churches abroad. Sister Churches International foresees the establishment of a building revolving fund to help build new churches or finish uncompleted churches.

....Once a match takes place and a new group or church is chosen for assistance, a donor church is assigned to that particular project and construction funds are raised. At the same time, a short-term international volunteer mission trip is organized to carry out and complete the building project.
