The cost to participate is equivalent to what a family might spend for a typical week-long vacation. Air fare costs between $800 and $1,250 round trip, depending on the time of year you choose to go and where you are departing from.

Lodging and food, ground transportation, and accident insurance are necessities, and typically cost between $350 and $550 for an average ten-day mission trip. Some unfunded projects ask the volunteers to help raise some of the necessary funds for the project, the cost of which usually varies between $250 and $500.

A current passport and a Brazilian visa are both required, and will cost approximately $150. MissionServ International will assist you in the preparation of the paperwork for acquiring the visa.
