Because of the lack of support and poor local hospital structure, more medical volunteers are needed in Brazil. FUNDAMED has focused its efforts on recruiting medical volunteers and surgical teams made up of both Brazilian and foreign professionals.
In order to assist the international volunteers, FUNDAMED offers to cater for all the logistical structuring of the medical teams. We will be responsible for the setting up and planning of the medical missions, including the follow-up and post-op.
International medical teams are responsible for supplying all the necessary equipment, supplies, and medicines in order to perform their medical activities successfully. The cities the teams work in are determined by FUNDAMED, and the mission will last for a period of 1 to 2 weeks, serving the needy and destitute local population.
